A transmission skid/catalytic converter shield for the 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Our plates are designed to function as both an off-road transmission skid plate and a catalytic converter protection plate. This is one of the few skid plates that leave the factory transfer case braces intact. Get the best of both worlds, a plate purposefully designed to both protect your cats from thieves and your transmission from off-road debris.

Fitment

  • Ventilation holes to keep temperatures down around the transmission
  • Mounts into preexisting holes from the factory
  • Not compatible with lift kits that require subframe modifications (usually lifts greater than 3 inches)
  • In some instances, there may be a tab on a preexisting OEM/TRD skid plate that will need to be bent slightly to allow the transmission shield to slide into place. This does not impact the integrity of either shield

  • CNC Laser Cut out of 1/4" 5052 Aluminum - Will not rust!
  • Ships as bare metal
  • All plates ship uncoated as bare metal, some cosmetic blemishes may be present on material upon arrival. Displays in pictures have been polished and finished.
